Notes:

Currently in year 2 of Continuous Improvement Process.  Reading comprehension goal but focusing on writing component.

Title 1 staff may turn over so they may need assistance in that area next year.

Interested in reading and math interventions as well as possibly training for their specialists in these areas.

Arcadia will lead their own curriculum work but may reach out for resources.

Possibly looking into some dual credit options for students.

They would like to have Becky Lueck involved with Instructional Coaches Cadre

They would like to participate in New Teacher Academy and may have a Transitional Math teacher who may need some coaching support if possible.

NWEA- Interested in training on using data for flexible grouping in the classroom.

Questions on title 4 consortium and what it might look like.

Assessment
Example activities: workshop facilitation on formative, summative and interim assessment; Interpreting ACT, NCSAS, and other data for the purpose of improving classroom instruction; Test Wiz;
Blended Learning
Direct support and professional learning for schools engaged in a blended learning initiative. Example activities: on-site classroom observations, technical assistance support, workshop facilitation, one-on-one consultation
Continuous School Improvement
Consultation, workshops or direct work with school districts to assist with the CIP process. Example activities: Steering Committee Meeting, mission/vision work, data retreat to create CIP goal, action plans, program evaluation, preparing for CIP external review
High Ability Learning
Workshops and activities in direct support of high ability learners
Instruction
Training on instructional strategies; coaching specific to the implementation of instructional strategies
Instructional Coach
Training and support for existing instructional coaches; consultation; modeling of instructional strategies
Instructional Supports
Instructional model training and implementation support (Marzano, Danielson, Homegrown). Example activities: Workshop facilitation, consultation, instructional rounds, classroom observation and coaching, professional goal setting
Leadership
Professional learning and consultation for administrators and teacher leaders in support of district initiatives. Example activities: Superintendent, Principal, TIS, Instructional coach meetings; one-on-one consultation; coaching conversations; Strategic Leadership trainings and meetings
Math
Training specific to math instruction; math strategies consultation; intervention training
MTSS
Direct support of MTSS process and practice in school districts. Example activities: team meeting, data analysis, action plans, creating process/protocols, on-site coaching
New Teacher Academy
New teacher and mentor training; on-site support for teachers and mentors; consultation
NWEA MAP
NWEA Certified Facilitators providing on-site consultation, training, and data analysis for administrators, teachers and staff.
Para Training
Workshop facilitation and webinar trainings; on-site support; consultation
Perkins Grant
Provides grant facilitation, management, professional development, and networking for Career and Technical Education teachers through the Carl D Perkins Grant Consortium.
Reading
Training specific to reading instruction; reading strategies consultation; intervention training
School Safety
Workshop and training on school safety and crisis teams; on-site support; consultation
Science
Training specific to science instruction; science strategies consultation; intervention training
Teacher/Principal Evaluation
Evaluation and training support. Example activities: consultation, ODIE Staff Evaluation Tool Support, classroom observations, walk through data collection, workshop facilitation, support with Student Learning Objectives, Professional Goal setting
Title II-A Consortium
Title II-A Consortium supports the goal of Title II-A: Increase the academic achievement of all students through strategies such as improving teacher and Principal quality and increasing the number of highly qualified teachers in the classroom and highly qualified Principals and leaders in schools.
