2301.00 - Wide Area Network (WAN) Support
Internet bandwidth is supplied to member schools to meet their network needs. This service includes monitoring and firewall support, packet capturing, and viewing logs to identify issues.
2302.00 - Distance Learning Support & Course Exchange Coordination
Coordinate and support schools for both receiving and delivering distance learning courses. Scheduling distance learning courses in the ESU 13 consortium, but also statewide courses available to 21 schools. Support of NVIS.
2306.00 - Erate
This service focuses on assisting schools with completing the processes required by the Universal Service Corporation for discounts on telecommunications services. These requirements include filing numerous reports, letting bids or requests for proposals, and completing on-line requests to receive calculated discounts for eligible services.
2309.00 - Network Planning & Consultation
Provide network security through firewall support, software installations and training of staff and member districts. Provide firewall configuration, support and automated backup for quick recovery in case of hardware failure. Troubleshooting of network issues such as packet loss or hardware issues. Prtg for monitoring network equipment.
2310.01 - ADVISER Support
Provides training and support of ADVISER (Nebraska State-wide data collection system).

Zoom is a desktop web and video conferencing purchased for ESU 13 schools through a consortium buy. ESU 13 staff manage accounts, train and deploy zoom accounts to its member schools.

1408.00 - Deaf Education
A teacher of the Hearing Impaired provides deaf education services and/or consultation for students verified as deaf or hard of hearing. Our Deaf Educator works with audiologists to ensure appropriate aural rehabilitation services to students, families, and schools.
1409.00 - Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a related service for students birth to age 21, as identified through the student’s individual education program (IEP) process. The focus of the service is to enhance the student’s education and foster a level of independence.
1411.00 - Secondary Transition Support and Training
Transition Staff assists district staff with student transition plans. These responsibilities may include program planning, coordinating events and PD, monitoring, evaluating, educating, and implementing transition services and supports. Transition Staff also work with outside agencies.
1416.01 - DIBELS Deep Testing
Testing individual at-risk students using the DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) Deep measure to areas for interventions
1416.02 - Acadience Assessment
ESU 13 staff administrators the Acadience testing for the K-6 students in individual buildings.
1417.00 - Outside of School Placement and Alternative Educational Service
Educational opportunities for students in need of Outside School Placements. ESU 13 area schools include LifeLink, Meridian, Panhandle Beginnings Therapeutic Day School and Valley Alternative Learning Transitioning Schools. ESU 13 provides educational programming, curriculum instruction and related services.
Grant Services
1501.01 - Autism
The Western Regional ASD Network is available to provide Resources and Training to local school districts in the areas of: Assessment and verification of ASD ?Program planning, including identification and implementations of appropriate strategies and interventions for students with ASD The Western region has a lending library consisting of books, videos, and other resources that is available to school districts and parents upon request. These may be checked out from the ESU7 Media Department. This grant provides service to ESU 13, ESU 15, ESU 16 and portions of ESU 17.

Provides grant facilitation, management, professional development, and networking for Career and Technical Education teachers through the Carl D Perkins Grant Consortium.

1501.13 - Early Learning Connections (ELC)
Nebraska’s Early Learning Connection (ELC) is an integrated system of early childhood professional development. The ELC consists of a statewide hub at the Early Childhood Training Center and seven regional Early Learning Connection partnerships, along with other state and regional partners. It is designed as a system that supports the career and professional development of all who provide programs and services for young children birth through age eight.
