Staff Development Services (84-002.05A)
Notes:

Professional learning structure is full-days. Each day is scheduled to have a morning keynote and then three breakout sessions during the afternoons.

They are bringing in Anita Archer on September 8, 2020 to facilitate a session on vocabulary and comprehension for all staff.

Interested in paraprofessional training on August 10 or 11, 2020. They would like a Eureka math session to build foundational knowledge in the language of Eureka. The would also like a para basics session on tips and tricks. 

Lexington will be sending teachers to Write Tools and Eureka training this summer.

They will have a Cognia External Visit during the fall of 2021.

Provided by ILCD through the PEaK Project - Supports districts in completing NDE requirements of TIP progress monitoring and reporting.

Professional learning and consultation for administrators and teacher leaders in support of district initiatives. Examples: one-on-one consultation; coaching conversations; Strategic Leadership trainings and meetings
1105.00 - Curriculum
Facilitation of a curriculum alignment process, high quality instructional materials selection, and/or incorporation of standards into classroom practice.
1106.00 - Instruction
Training on foundational pedagogical practices and strategies that can be implemented across content areas. Classroom examples: student engagement, comprehension, classroom management, relationships.

Training specific to reading instruction, reading strategies consultation and/or intervention training.

Student Services
1401.00 - Special Education Supervision
Works with Districts on Federal and NDE Compliance, district and state financials, and also provides trainings to support ESU 10 and District staff.
1403.00 - Vision Education
Our teachers of the visually impaired provide resources, services, and supports in preparing children/youth, ages birth-21, who have a visual impairment for success in life through collaboration with schools, families, and community agencies. Our certified teachers of the visually impaired provide evaluation, consultation, and intervention.
1404.00 - Early childhood supports
EDN - Birth-3 - Our Service Coordinators provide services and supports to children with disabilities and their families. ESU 10 is the grant holder for the Planning Region Team grant which provides supports to schools, EDN, and other agencies that support families with young children with disabilities.
1408.00 - Deaf education
Our teachers of the Hearing Impaired provide deaf education services, supports, and/or consultation for students verified with a deaf or hard of hearing disability. Our Deaf Educators work with our audiologist to ensure appropriate aural rehabilitation services to students, families, and schools.
1412.00 - Audiology
Our Audiologist provides audiological supports and services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Hearing assessments are conducted for any student suspected of having a disability or difference in their hearing.
Grant Services
1501.14 - Assistive Technology
ATP is run by VR and NDE. This program supports all Nebraska districts in providing AT services to children and students Birth-21.
Other Services
1605.00 - Coop Purchasing
Nebraska ESUCC Cooperative Purchasing provides compliant, competitive, aggregated bidding and purchasing to control and reduce costs to its members by maximizing efficiency of resources and processes in Nebraska and Nationally. Cooperative Purchasing is authorized to coordinate purchases for public school districts, nonpublic school systems, other ESUs, and other public agencies, including any county, city, village, school district, or agency of the state government, any drainage district, sanitary and improvement district, or other municipal corporation or political subdivision of the State of Nebraska.
