Blended Learning: looking to individualize learning more in the future--small class sizes. Start with Elementary - strategies and tools. EdTech Team has a workshop on July 29 (session breakouts) and a UDL/Blended workshop on June 21. Title II and IV contracted services would apply to teachers. Both are on ODIE. We can also come to you with teacher support.
Math is goal - looking for supplemental materials for Saxon right now (picking out new series next spring)
Distance Learning: needs? College English through CCC now; looking for an Ag teacher, probably Spanish, are there courses out there? Also business!
Instruction/Teacher Principal Eval - NDE is coming out with a document for the NTPPS framework. Look at it in staff meetings to reflect on where we are?….ESU 10 can support in this. There is a lot of overlap with Marzano Instructional Model.
Instructional Coach Support: initially our support started with the reading coach. But reach out with a specific need!
Instructional Supports: fits with Marzano. We can do refreshers as needed. Staff turnover might warrant more support
Leadership: Strategic Leadership June 1 and 2. Day 2 is optional but would be good for a leadership team to attend. Plus year-long Zoom meetings. Leadership Network Triads for Principals. (was new this year). Let us know if interested. April 7 is a Zoom informational session 9-9:30 am

Examples: steering committee meeting, mission/ vision work, data support, comprehensive needs assessment, CIP goal selection, action plans, program evaluation, preparing for the CIP external visit; support for Comprehensive Support and Improvement ‘CSI’, and Targeted Support and Improvement ‘TSI’ and Additional Targeted Support and Improvement ‘ATSI’ student designations.
Workshops, consultation or direct work with school districts to establish Multi-tiered System of Support processes and practices. Examples include regional meetings, team meetings, data analysis, action plans, and creating processes/protocols.
Training, support and consultation for sustaining, improving and re-establishing school environments that are conducive and supportive of learning. Examples: school safety teams and plans, crisis teams, psychological first aid, standard protocol response training, suicide prevention, staff and student wellness, self care, trauma informed care,equity.
Professional learning and consultation for administrators and teacher leaders in support of district initiatives. Examples: one-on-one consultation; coaching conversations; Strategic Leadership trainings and meetings; leadership network triads
Facilitation of a curriculum alignment process and/or incorporation of standards into classroom practice. Services include development of district-level curriculum maps, pacing guides/scope and sequence, standards alignment. If services are provided for a specific content area only and not as a district effort, they should be logged under that content area. Service also includes content-agnostic instruction materials adoption and implementation processes.
Training on foundational pedagogical practices and strategies that can be implemented across content areas. Classroom examples: student engagement, comprehension, classroom management, relationships. Services include ALP Year 1-5 Workshops and ALP learning walks.
Facilitation of instructional model/framework designed to deepen implementation of research based instructional strategies and classroom practices. System examples: instructional model training; consultation; instructional rounds; professional goal setting assistance
Training specific to literacy (reading and writing) instruction, literacy strategies consultation and/or intervention training. Services include LETRS, K-12 HQIM ELA Adoption and Implementation services, and other reading or writing trainings.
Training and support in the analysis and application of formative, interim, and summative data. Examples: data analysis facilitation, training, and consultation related to classroom, state, and national data.
Direct support and professional learning for schools engaged in blended learning. Examples: on-site classroom observations, technical assistance support, workshop facilitation, one-on-one consultation
New teacher and mentor training, on-site support for teachers and mentors and/or consultation. Services include New Teacher Academy, New Teacher Academy Mentor training, New Teacher Academy coaching for transitional teachers, and all services provided as part of the UNK/NDE Grant for Early Career Educators.
Training and support in the development of district-wide practices for teacher or principal evaluation. Examples: Instructional framework adoption; consultation; training in evaluation best practices; administrator observation and data collection; ODIE Staff Evaluation Tool Support
Training specific to non-core content instruction and other/non-core consultation. Examples: Social Studies, Fine Arts, Career Education, World Language, Physical Education
Our Autism Regional Coordinator, along with the Autism Team provides training and consultation to district staff in order to support students on the Autism Spectrum.
Facilitation of collaboration opportunities for school counselors. Provide opportunities for professional development that supports social, emotional, and behavioral learning practices in school districts.
Cybersecurity planning, training and reporting focused on support and sharing resources before, during and after a cybersecurity event. (ODIE security Dashboards).
EDN - Birth-3 - Our Service Coordinators provide services and supports to children with disabilities and their families. ESU 10 is the grant holder for the Planning Region Team grant which provides supports to schools, EDN, and other agencies that support families with young children with disabilities.
Our School Psychologists provide the appropriate assessments when evaluating students, interpret and disseminate data, provide interventions, and consult and collaborate with team members to develop an effective plan to meet the needs of each individual student.
Our teachers of the Hearing Impaired provide deaf education services, supports, and/or consultation for students verified with a deaf or hard of hearing disability. Our Deaf Educators work with our audiologist to ensure appropriate aural rehabilitation services to students, families, and schools.
Our Transition Coordinator assists district staff with student transition plans. These responsibilities may include program planning, coordinating events and PD, monitoring, evaluating, educating, implementation, and public relations. Our Coordinator also works with outside agencies.
Our Audiologist provides audiological supports and services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Hearing assessments are conducted for any student suspected of having a disability or difference in their hearing.
Provides grant facilitation, management, professional development, and networking for Career and Technical Education teachers through the Carl D Perkins Grant Consortium.
Title IV-A Consortium supports the goal of Title IV-A: Well rounded education opportunities, safe and healthy students, and effective use of technology.
