Cozad Community Schools appreciates the partnership it gains from ESU 10. We use their services for many things from staff development to ordering supplies. With the pooling of resources, we are able to receive training and materials for Title III which we would not have enough on our own to do much. We buy supplies through ESU's because they are usually cheaper and helps us save money and provide what our teachers need for the classroom. ESU 10 provides CTE training and resources for our faculty through the pooling of resources from the Perkins monies. The savings on training and resources we receive is very beneficial. I'm sure we would not be able to do it on our own with the the budget we have for CTE.
Without the ESU, we would probably just have to do with out the resources or training. We know it would cost us much more to do some of these programs on our own. We probably would not have the resources/funds to provide the training and resources to all these areas so some would have to go with out some years. This would affect the students that we are trying to instruct and provide opportunities for a quality education.
